MY FINAL SCHOOL YEAR AT BABUTHENI SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL IN MPUMALANGA
I am Tebatso Portia Mathobela, I am 19 years old, I am from vaalbank in Mpumalanga. I am Interpersonally intelligent which simply means that I am a people person,I am currently doing my first year in BEd for foundation phase learning at the TEC Siyabuswa and I actually enjoy it because I love interacting with the little ones.
My schooling years were actually very excited, I matriculated at Babutheni senior secondary school based in Vaalbank, ‘my hometown’ in 2013. Vaalbank is still a developing environment, it is not yet developed, we still have a chief who rules us, the municipalities, and the community comities. My matric subjects were Sepedi home language, English first additional language, life sciences, mathematics, life orientation, agricultural sciences and geography. Out of all the subjects that I was doing at school, my favourite subject was life sciences. This was because I had the closest relationship with my life science teacher and I liked her so much she was such an inspiration and a role model to me.
I even miss her so much now that I have completed my matric and I can’t get to be around her like I used to, she was such an amazing person, she even used to give advises about how to reach for our dreams and goals apart from teaching us. My previous school was very poor when it comes to educational technology resources, only teachers had computers and laptops so whenever they had to show us something they would connect to the projector and continue with lessons, we also did not have a lab for experiments so most of our experiments we did them outside the class,   we were unfortunate unlike other schools that are more advanced and have computers and labs.

We used make extra classes in the morning and in the afternoon an also during the weekends so that we improve our performance, we even arranged ourselves into groups so that we share different ideas and information on our school work. It was really an awesome experience…I miss my former classmates.
